Hi stitching fans!
All the anticipation of the past few months has now culminated in the handmade spectacular that is Me Made May!
I posted a little while back about my pledge but I'll remind you here to save you tedious blog scrolling :)
I am going to wear a handmade item every day for the month of May and I will post to my Instagram each day with what I'm wearing.
Here is day one's entry! This is my Sew Over It Ultimate Pencil skirt made in crazy upholstery stretch somethingorother that I bought in Goldhawk road after it sung at me from across the shop. It's great because it was amazingly quick to make, has no buttons or zips or anything because of the stretch, and is very easy and comfortable to wear. Winner!
You can follow my progress as well as see what everyone else is doing to take part by looking for #MMM16 on all the usual social outlets - I'd suggest Insta (get me) is your best bet though.
I'm planning to include a weekly Vlog over on the Youtube Channel with my 'wears' for the week but we will see how that goes this week and whether I can coordinate things enough to remember to get all the content!
